The Stars Shine In The Middle Of the Day

A little music while you explore?

You know the stars shine in the middle of the day, you’d see them twinkle if the sun weren’t in the way

And one soul’s dusk is another soul’s dawn, look beyond the horizon, the cosmos goes on and on

And on and on to infinity, I can barley comprehend it, it just baffles me

As I stand here with my feet firmly on the ground, head in the clouds, listening to the never ending eternal sound

Of the great big bang kicking life into being, that allows me to be here and now seeing

A million, billion, gazillion years away, the stars that shine in the middle of the day

And when I think of where I’ve come from and where I’m going, when I started on this journey I had no way of knowing

The path I was on was leading me here, staring out at the ocean with senses so clear

That I can see the smallest atom vibrate with energy, and when I close my eyes tightly I can hear the universe breathe

As I stand beside a mountain beneath the milky way, starting to sway, feeling the planet twist and spin as it makes it’s way

Circling the sun at the galaxy’s centre, going round and round so we all remember

That following the dark the light is soon on it’s way, hiding the stars that shine in the middle of the day

As the moon makes it’s arc across the inky black sky, the stars twinkle twinkle like diamonds way up high

My soul sings out to the whole of the earth, that I know why I’m here and I know what I’m worth

I flow through the rivers, I grow with the trees, I dwell in the flowers, I swell with the seas

My breath is the heart of the mightiest wind, and I begin, to feel part of the spirit that exists in all things without any limit

I’m connected to everything past, future, present, as the sun makes it’s entry as if it was sent

To fill me with fire and show me the way, as the greatest of stars that shine in the middle of the day
